What is occupy julor bi house?

It is a movement. Its name takes from the Ga words “Julor Bi” - child of a thief.

It is also a purposeful misspelling of ‘Jubilee House’ - the presidential palace.

The protests started on Thursday 21st September 2023, in alignment with Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday. A day picked to echo the spirit of fighting for liberty, as Nkrumah is known for leading Ghana to its independence in 1957.

Saturday 23rd September 2023 marked the 3rd day of peaceful protests in Accra.
